2008 – Zimbabwe’s political-economic fabric is in shreds. Zimbabweans have nowhere to sell their products to generate the cash required for school fees, medicine, clothing, and transportation. A local Zimbabwean crafts promoter visits two rural villages, sharing news of money to be made at Santa Fe’s International Folk Art Market. 3 engaging heroines with naive enthusiasm and little comprehension of the obstacles ahead emerge showcasing humanity’s commonalities woven into its diversity.
